The team went up to Zionsville, Indiana on Friday and Sat. We finished 3rd place! Thanks to all who helped to complete this years build. There will pictures posted shortly and will add some along the way. We will try and put video on the site as well.

Tech Expo is on may 4th (Tuesday) If you would like to help out please let Dave, Adam, Melanie or Curtiss know. We will meet Monday and Tuesday each week. Keep watch because there may be a Thursday thrown in there sometime.

When you see the fellow Club members you should congratulate them on a job well done.

Thanks again for all of the hard work and to all of your families that had to put up with the long hours we all had to endure.

(Post Script) Elections must be done by May 1st. So they will take place on the 30th of April. If you are interested in a position please ask one of the Executive members about it. Entries must be submitted to the President by the 28th of April. Please turn in a one paragraph summary of why you feel that you would be a great candidate for the position you are running for. The voting will be by majority vote. Note: Dave Conrad will use the short paragraphs in order to break any ties.

The following positions are available:
Executive Positions: President, VP, Treasure, Team Leader (These positions will receive a personalized Jacket before the next years competition)

Senior Positions: Secretary and Two Junior Team Leaders (These positions will receive a hooded sweatshirt(or something else) before the next years competition)

Note: If you are a junior club member that is returning after a full quarter then you are eligible for a club t-shirt. If you are a returning member after a full year you are eligible to a club hooded sweatshirt (must complete 4 quarters (not including Summer quarter).

Hey Everybody,

Quick update, the competition is quickly approaching and we still have A LOT of stuff to get done. Listed below are more build times.

Mondays 530-9pm

Tuesday 530-9pm

Saturdays 11am-6pm (unless otherwise posted on the blog)

Sundays (stay tuned for times)

Also, if you have a free moment, some hours to kill in between classes, or have nothing to do at night stop by because most likely Adam or Dave will be there working on the BUV.

Work has continued throughout the break but, I have not heard from anyone. We need everyone’s involvement in order to complete this project for the April 16th deadline.

Build and meeting time will not happen tonight (Tuesday). There will be normal meeting time Thursday at 12:00pm in the North Lab.

Update for official meeting times:
Monday and Tuesday: 5:30-9pm
Thursday: 12:00-4pm
Saturday: TBD

T-SHIRTS AND SWEATSHIRTS!!!

Howdy!

We are officially ordering tshirts and also have the opportunity to order sweatshirts as well. The sweatshirts are going to be around $16 each and you would have to pay for them yourself if you want one. Adam and I are ordering sweatshirts for the two of us but IF YOU’RE INTERESTED IN GETTING A SWEATSHIRT EMAIL ME ASAP so that we can get the order in soon. You can also tell Adam whether or not you want one at the meeting tomorrow.

For our meeting on December 1st, we are planning on having pizza and drinks. Please bring your own cups for your drinks that you can leave here for future pizza parties (yes, we will wash them).
